YOU F****** BITCH! YOU GO AND COPY MY E-MAIL AND THEN GIVE ME NO CREDIT! WHAT THE F*** WERE YOU THINKING.  OK, I THINK THAT WILL DO.  THAT IS ENOUGH PUNISHMENT FOR YOU.
     - Sigma  (Elektro would never write this message (and sign my name) on top of his message that (let's pretend) was copied from an e-mail written by Sigma, in the hope that I would see this message and mistakingly think I wrote it in a drunken stupor, and therefore there would be no need to kick Elektro's ass when he comes to visit me.)

I just want to let everyone know that we came out on top of CIT for a GoC game, winning 5-2 on the Smelter.  CIT played a great game, but couldn't quite pull it off.  I was a little scared when I noticed EVERY player on their team had 30 pings (god, I was having flash back to the Reactive game), but once we got playing I calmed down a little.
Our server CRASEHD about 3-5 min into the game the first time, we had a 2-1 lead with a lot of the techs.  We then hoped to IRC(IRC server changed, see below) to decied what to do.  We made it to YYZ4 about 10min later to start over.   Again, we got a few quick caps, and had good tech control early in the game.   As the game progressed we lost a few of the techs and our D got a little shakey, but we did regroup to hold them with 2 frags.  Cocoapuff, Elektro, Jeffrey, Storm, and Zigsoft played for us...they did one hell of a job!
We have a game tomorrow vs Virtual Death for the 32nd spot on the OGL, they WILL be a strong team, and we will need to play our best.  The map is Stronghold (Q2CTF2) and is a LPB friendly map.  We will need to be MEGA Quad whores.
In other 99VC news, we have got our new IRC room setup at the following: Server = west.gamesnet.net Room  = #clan_99vc
Storm is MOVING and will no longer be w/ his trusty Cable Modem!!!  He's getting out of LA and back to Chico.  He will be joining rank w/ the rest of the HPBs....sometimes.  Most likely he will be able to play "from work" on a T3...I'll let everyone know what's going on when it all happened(most likely w/ in the next few days).
    - Elektro  (I swear I wrote that.  I wouldn't want to piss off Sigma by copying his (let's pretend) e-mail, since I will be seeing him in 1 day, and I wouldn't want to get my ass kicked.)

We just beat Red Dragons for a 1/0 record in the Hammer division of the ICR.  The match was a best 2 out of 3 match.  The number of caps is kinda irrelevant in other words.  We played both games on one server.  The first game on Smelter was a 4-4 (566-455) victory for us and the second game on Q2CTF5 was a 5-2 victory for us.  GG RD!   They were one of our tuffest opponents yet.  Cya...

Wow Elektro, at 6:47am post?  I know that you sure as hell didn't get up that early on a Saturday...you need to go to bed earlier :P.  Yes the CSN is cool, but I'm sure that after you read the review of the 99VC you will all see why Elektro likes the page so much. heheheh.

My connection is still messed up...I get 999 every 5-8 seconds(it used to be every 3-5 seconds) and I've tried to call the Cable company, but they never pick up the phone :-/  I REALLY hope that it works by tonight's game.

Later alligator

     I just finished up the
Orgazmo review and am wondering if there is really any point in me going to bed now.  Call me (310-317-3448) if I am not on-line for the match at 7:00pm.  I may still be asleep. =)  Cya...

The Cyber Sports Network recently wrote up a review of every clan in the ICR this season here.   Under Tull's description they said, "Probably the most dominant Q2CTF clan in existance..."  What is that all about?  Boy, are we going to show them.   They also gave us a 1-4 spread (second to last in our division).  Oh well, it will just look more impressive when we win the whole thing.  Get ready to demolish RD on Saturday.  1-4 my ass. =)
But,  that Cyber Sports Network is actually really cool.  You all should check it out.  I was telling sigma that it is pretty cool that people actually spend their time covering something that most people in the world could care less about.  They even did a little line in the news about our OGL Modem team's victory the other night.  Cya...

The 99VC just won their first match in a 2on2 ladder in the OGL.  We played Cold Steel for the Modem ladder.  Slicker and I had been trying to schedule a game with Cold Steel for a while now, so tonight I just offered Cold Steel to play 1on1 since we were having problems getting everyone together at once.  I was winning 8-0 after 10 mins in McKinley and the guy from Cold Steel said that he gave up and would go report a forfeit to the OGL.   2on2 OGL matches are the best 2 out of 3 games.  I was looking forward to a 48-0 win but oh well.  Sorry Slicker for not including you in the game but I just wanted to get this match over with especially after the opposing clan lied to me about several things.  Cya...

We just finished playing The Peacemakers in a OGL Modem match.  It was a 5on5 match with Viper, Slicker, Jeff, Nox, and I.  We played one game on their server which ended in a 6-0 victory on Smelter for us, and we played one game on our server which ended in a 13-0 victory on Smelter for us for a total score of 19-0 for the match.   Nice game Pm.  First time in a while that we haven't sitten in a server for an hour before the match argueing about where to play.
By the way, that match increased the modem team's match record to 8-0 and cap record to 100-1.  No kidding.  I have decided that this modem team is so cool that when I get the T1 connection in January that I will pay a dial-up isp $20 a month to continue to play with you guys!  But Jeffrey just needs to start working on getting points.  I mean 313 points is just not adequate.  =) Hell, I was getting worried that he would beat my 796 score and 53 caps on smelter.
Check the movie page tonight.  I hope to get the Orgazmo review up.  Cya...

Hmmm.  I don't have much to say, but I knew Sigma would kill me if I put The Waterboy reviewed news on the main page without writing something in here too.  I will be putting an Orgazmo review up sometime tomorrow too.  Cya...

We have three games this week.  One OGL game vs Virtual Death on Monday or Saturday at 7pm PST(10pm EST).  One vs CIT for GoC (I have yet to submit the date) and the final is a ICR game vs Red Dragons.  We have a very tough division:
.
TULL H8
QSA Red Dragons

Elite Strike

I finaly got around to testing out the PS2Mouse Rrate program that everone has been raving about...and it DOES ROCK.  My quake2 is much more 'smooth' due to the mousing haveing a higher sampling rage.  Want it, but don't know where to get it?  Well take it!

If you like Starwars or are interested in seeing the Episode 1 movie trailer, you can pick it up here, wighing in a 7megs.

     Hasta la posta...

Wohoo, 99VC is COOL!  We had two OGL matches tonight.   One in the modem ladder and then one in the open ladder.  I played in both because I am special, I think.
The first OGL Modem match was against 6-7 Digital Underground (DU) on Q2CTF1.  We played one game on their server with fairly poor pings.   Viper, Jeff, and Nox joined me in the 4on4 17-0 massacre in our favor.  Good game DU!  I now understand why you all didn't want us to challenge you but, sorry, thats how ladders work.
The second OGL Open match was against
Clan 420Three (423)on Q2CTF1.   We played one game on their server, 7-1 in our favor, and one game on our server, 15-0 in our favor.  Storm, Jeff, Beacon, Zig, and Sigma joined me for a 6on6 22-1 win.  Good game 423!
I am still talking with Sol/James about the e-mail situation.   I will send another e-mail about it when we are all done and everything is working.
I booked plane tickets to and from San Francisco last night to go stay with Sigma and Slicker (err I mean James and Nick) in Santa Rosa for Thanksgiving.   Viper got scared and decided to go to Virgina or something so I wouldn't kick his ass, so I won't be seeing him =(.  You know someone is 99VC when they go spend Thanksgiving with clanmates rather than going home to their family. =)  Cya...

Wohoo, X-Files is COOL!   I feel kinda bad though...Slicker(For those who don't know, Slicker is my bro) called me right as it started...I told him I could only talk for a sec because the X-files just stated.  I feel bad now :-/  Soooo, sorry slicker!  Ok, feel much better now.

As Elektro just said below, we beat DHT tonight, but we have TWO more games this week.   One for HOC'98 and one for GOC, Slicker attempted to tell me when they were to be played...but like I said...X-Files came on and I didn't really get to talk with him.  I will be talking to Slicker tomorrow afternoon to find out all the info though.

For quite awhile now...Razorcut from the OGL has been talking about his "Secret Project" that will soon change the way the OGL is ran.  I went ahead and started to gather info about it and found that the structure will be kinda like the board game Risk.  When you first enter the OGL(we will *ALL* need to Enter the OGL as individuals, then I'll "Pick" you guys to form the 99VC team.  No, another clan can't 'pick' you) we will be able to "Pick a planet" that we will own.  There will be around 3000 or so "planets" that we can pick from.  We get to pick any planet that's not occupied that we want.  We can pick one that's "close to battle"(a planet close to a few other clans) or one way out in no mans land so we could build our 99 cent Empire!  You can have Alliances(I've already talked w/ ES, and we are now officially allies for the new OGL) that would BATTLE w/ us and for us if we need them.  Why would we need another clan?  Because we might have *TWO* games at once.  If we have a HUGE Empire(and u know we will *wink*) we will have a lot of planets to protect...if we have like 5+clans attacking different planets we will prob need a lot more players than what we have.  I have asked the KT's to re-join OGL when the "new'' OGL is online DEC15th...and you know that if the KT's join up we will be allies :)  You guys can get all the info at the OGL page under the Comm board/Secret Project group(I would put the direct link, but the OGL page is down).  They will also hold individual stats (the reason why you need to register as a person vs as a clan).  I think it will be really cool...even though it will be hard to find out who the "best clan" is.

Well this is the part where I say I'm tired....sooo, g'night all!!!

We just finished up a great match against DHT for the OGL open ladder.  Storm, Cocoa, Jeff, Fury, and I played.  We couldn't agree on a server to play one game on, so we decided to play one on DHT's server and then one on the 99VC server.  DHT, you all are one of the toughest clans we have played in the OGL.  I told my clan during the match in message-mode 2, "These guys are good...let's put 4 on D."  The final score was 11-1 in our favor.  I don't think the score is quite accurate as to how hard we had to play to keep DHT down.  We got away with a 3-1 victory on their server and then took off from there to an 8-0 victory on our server.
Storm and I redid the 99VC Movie Review site this weekend.   Take a look.  Hopefully, I will have a review of American History X up by tonight and then some more by the end of this week.  Storm also said that Lady-Storm can't wait to start writing some reviews soon.
This is usually where Sigma says how busy and tired he is and has to go.  But, you all know that I have nothing else to do.  Hmmmm.  So what other excuse could I use? Ahhh fuck it! (sorry Jeff...err f*** it.) Cya.

99VC.com is backup!  Big thanx to Elektro, Nox and SOL for making it all happen.  its a LONG story as to why the site went down in the first place...but all that is unimportant, the important thing is that its BACK!  We did however, lose over a month of news/site updates...but oh, well, life goes on.

Expect quite a few changes to the site over the next week or so...Elektro and Storm have been working on a few "upgrades".  As you go through out the site, I'm sure you will come across some things that do not work...but don't worry, everything will be fixed soon.  I will be fully connected for the internet this coming Sat (Nov 7th), so be afraid....be very afraid.  I should be online and quakin it up by 5pm PST :)

In other news, we have lost our first game in HOC'98 to Pure Venom in a really close game.  In the OGL both our teams (modem and Open) are doing great, we have a combined record of 10-1.  I entered us into the GOC open division, and I'm sure we will enter into the Modem division soon.  We were also invited to play in ICR-4...a Invitation only CTF Tourney.

Well its REALLY late, and I think that about does it...so I'll C u all later.
